Ashcraft Wedding ~ Tulsa Wedding Photographer ~
Well I’m finally updating with a new wedding! My life has been extraordinarily crazy as of late, but as the old saying goes “what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.” I can say without a doubt that I am far stronger today than I was 1 month ago.
This wedding was a really nice challenge, we planned everything outdoors and then it rained! I actually love these moments because you get to see what you’re made of, overcome the obstacle and still make a successful shoot. Amanda, the bride, obviously wasn’t too happy about the rain but I assured her that it would not at all hinder the images we can produce…Then I wiped my brow, took a deep breath, and did my best to make some magic.
Most of this wedding was shot with my new favorite lens, the Voigtlander 40mm f2 manual pancake lens. I absolutely love the look of this lens.
At the end of the wedding everything cleared up for about 5 minutes just before the sun went down so we were able to still get outside and get some nice shots there too. I couldn’t use any of my lights though, the wind was crazy so I went on board flash and fast glass. In the end I’m really happy with this wedding, let me know what you think and you can see more images from the wedding in my “weddings” section of the site.
